Robert F. Boehnke, 67

Blair native Robert F. Boehnke, 67, of Omaha, died May 5, 2004 in Omaha in a car accident.

Funeral services were June 17. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Robert F. “Bob” Boehnke was born October 28, 1936, in Blair to John F. and Emma Boehnke. He graduated from Blair High School in 1954 and served in the US Army.

Before retiring, Mr. Boehnke was a postal carrier in the Blair area for more than 20 years. He was a member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; four stepsons, Phil of Minneapolis, Steve of Omaha, Jeff, who is serving in the US Army, and Dan of Savannah Georgia; six grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law John and Joy of Richwood Texas; and a niece, Debra Farris of Mondamin, Iowa.
