Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 21 at Pella Lutheran church in Omaha for Walter J. Boehnke, 67, of Omaha who died February 19, 1997 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Rev. Mark seem will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Omaha.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heafey-Heafey- Hoffman-Dworak and Cutler’s West Center Chapel.
Walter J. Boehnke was born June 20. 1929 in Fremont to Johannus F. and Emma S.M. Schwanemann Boehnke.
He was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a security guard at the Eppley Airport in Omaha. He was a member of Pella Lutheran church. He married Darlene K. Cyriacks, she survives.
Other survivors include brothers, Bob Boehnke of Blair and John of Clute, Texas; a sister, Elaine Cleaver, Modale, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the giver’s choice.
