Miss Mary Cook had word yesterday of the death of Mrs. John W. Boggs, formerly of this city, at the home of her daughter, Jo, Mrs. B.F. Thomas, in Long Beach California, on the 11th, the funeral being on the 13th at the house. She lacked just a month of being 90 years of age.

Mr. Boggs died several years ago. The surviving children are Kearn and George Boggs of Oklahoma and Mrs. Thomas, one son, Frank, having passed away many years ago, also a daughter, the first wife of W.J. Cook. Mr. Boggs was postmaster here a good many years ago, they being early settlers in Blair.
