Dorothy N. Boham, 88

Graveside services for Dorothy Nadine Boham, 88, of Blair, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August, 15, 2000 at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Mrs. Boham died Friday, August 11, at her daughter’s home in Omaha.

Dorothy N. Boham was born on Jan 14, 1912 in Brocksburg, NE to Rudy and Marie (West) Custer.

She atteneded Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Wayne State Teacher’s College. She taught elementary education. She also worked at Wilkinson Manufacturing in Fort Calhoun.

On Dec. 28, 1932, she married Bazil Boham in Lake Andes, South Dakota. They had six children.

She is survived by her husband, Bazil; daughters and sons-in law, Lois and Tom Dein of Blair, Anne and Al Martin of Omaha, Pauline and Duane Matzen of Fort Calhoun, and La Vonne and Ray Shaul of Bullhead City, Arizona; many grandchildren, and one great grandchild; a sister, Joy Johensen of Ganges, British Columbia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, James; her son, Myron in 199 and three brothers and five sisters.

Campbell –Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
