Myron Eugene Boham, 56, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999, in Versailles, Indiana.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 18, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Burial was in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Myron Eugene Boham was born August 16, 1943, to Bazil and Dorothy Boham in Gregory, South Dakota. He grew up in Nebraska and moved to Fort Calhoun in 1957, attending high school there.

He served with honor in the US Navy from October 16, 1961 and was honorably discharged on February 15, 1966.

His main hobbies were working on his cars and trucks and digging into history.

He loved old westerns and the countryside.

He will be most remembered for his quick wit, his kind nature and his extended family. He frequently called his mother “mother bear” to tell her he loved her.

His main vocation was iron working and truck driving.

On May 22, 1999 he married Ruth Frahm in Blair.

He was a member of the Iron Workers Local #21 in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Katie Boham and son, John Boham, of Omaha; step-children, Aimee of Beemer, Chuck Delevan of Texarkana, Texas, Michelle Delevan of Blair; and Wendi Stidd of Bennington; parents Bazil and Dorothy Boham of Blair; sisters and brother-in-law, LaVonne and Ray Shaul of Arizona, Pauline and Duane Matzen of Fort Calhoun, Anne and al Martin of Omaha, and Lois and Tom Dein of Omaha; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, James.

Seivers-Sprick Funeral Home in fort Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
