Delmar Miller was born Dec. 9, 1914 on a farm ten miles west of Herman and died at the University Hospital of Omaha Sept 12, 1927 at the age of twelve years, nine months and five days. Little Delmar was taken ill almost six weeks ago and was taken to the hospital where everything possible was done for his recovery.

Delmar was a member of the Agoga Cadets Sunday School Class of the Baptist Church and would have been in the eighth grade at school this year. While in the hospital he spoke of how he hoped to go on with his class.

Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Miller, he leaves two brothers, Walter and Leslie and five sisters, Mrs. Lucy Sheets, Mrs. Luella Metzler, Viola Roma and Maxine.

The pallbearers were little playmates. The large floral offering testified to the love that the community held for little Delmar. He was a boy that always thought of his mother and to the very last planned to do things for her.

Funeral services were held at two o'clock Friday afternoon at the Baptist Church. Rev. T. J. Reese of Pawnee City officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Herman Cemetery.
