Ina Deerson, age 98 of Arlington, died peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Life Care Center in Elkhorn. She was born the daughter of Henry C. and Marie (Grell) Rohwer on April 17, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up on a farm on Q Street and as a child attended District 36 School and later elected to go the Elkhorn High School so she could get all 4 years of high school.

On September 18, 1938, Ina was united in marriage to Wallace A. Deerson in Omaha, Nebraska. Together they owned and operated Deerson Meat Plant in Elkhorn. She enjoyed fishing, baking, listening to Nebraska football and volleyball and cheering on the Big Red. One of her highlights of her life was her Hot Air Balloon ride she took on her 75th birthday.

Ina is preceded in death by: her husband, Wallace Deerson; brother, Warren Rohwer; a niece and her family, Jody and her husband, Ronnie and their children. She is survived by: her daughter, Myrna Deerson and son, Don Deerson both of Arlington, Nebraska; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn. Burial of ashes will follow in the cemetery. The Reichmuth Funeral Home of Elkhorn is caring for the Deerson family at this time.
