Laura Colby Found Hanging In Her Room At Norfolk

Using the very apparatus with which she had been tied, to prevent her from violence on herself, Laura Colby, 37 years old, hung herself in her room at the Norfolk hospital for the insane at Norfolk, last Monday, according to a report to the State Board of Control. Her body was found by attendants. Her home was formerly near Arlington. Since she became an inmate at the hospital in 1914, she had shown tendencies to take her own life and the authorities took precautions to prevent such an act.
