SERVICES HELD FOR DONALD HUSK

Funeral services were held Monday, April 26, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Hooper for Donald M. Husk, 67, of Hooper, who died April 22, 1982, at an Omaha hospital after a lingering illness.

Rev. Rodney Meske conducted the services. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Donald M. Husk was born at Blair July 8, 1914, to Charles and Jennie Husk. He married Katherine Lang at Blair on June 22, 1941.

He had been engaged in farming near Hooper since 1936 and had farmed until about six weeks ago when he retired and moved into Hooper. He had served in the United State Army for 3 1/2 years during World War II.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Hooper, the Lutheran Laymen's League of the church, the VFW of Arlington and had served as treasurer of School District 14 for many years. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau for several years and had been a 4-H leader.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and one grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine; and four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Karen) Kuhr of Blair, Mrs. David (Jane) Puhl of Omaha, Mrs. James (Donna) Craig of Lewistown, Montana, and Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Panning of Hooper. Thirteen grandchildren and two brothers, Harry of Arlington and Eugene of Herman, also survive him.

Warne Funeral Home, Hooper, was in charge of arrangments for the services.
