Viva E. Husk, 88, of Blair, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

A private funeral service will be Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.

Viva E. Husk was born July 4, 1911, to Samuel and Stella (Barton) McCowan, in Omaha. She attended the Glendale School in rural Blair.

On March 11, 1931, she married Clarkson Husk in Blair. They farmed in Washington County their entire lives. She moved to Blair after the death of her husband in January of 1978.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Willie Lucht of Blair; a sister, Vera Husk of Blair; three grandsons, Scott Lucht, and Gordon and Gale Husk; daughter-in-law, Donna Husk of Herman; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Lyle; and one sister, Hazel Johnson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
