Services were Tuesday, February 28 at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn for Thomas A. Hurlbut, 68 of Waterloo who died February 25, 1995 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Rev. Lawrence Sundell officiated. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery at Elkhorn.

Thomas A. Hurlbut was born September 20, 1926 in Blanco, Colorado. He served with the United States Army. He was a warehouse worker for A T & T.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and his wife, Lorene, who died August 4, 1994.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Hurlbut of Omaha; a stepson, Gene Thompson of Waterloo; four brothers, Angus, Harry, Neil and William, all of Omaha and Ralph of Blair; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
