Mrs. Julius Nielsen, mother of Mrs. Ove T. Anderson of this cIty, passed away at the home of her daughter in Council Bluffs on last Monday after several weeks illness. Mrs. Nielsen and her daughter, now Mrs. Anderson, came to Blair from Potter, Nebr. about five years ago and bought a home just east of the Danish Church, were Ove Anderson now lives. She has recently been living in Council Bluffs.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. Schultz of this city officitin and burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

Mother of Mrs. Ove T. Anderson Laid At Rest

The funeral of Mrs. J. V. Nielsen was held at the Danish Lutheran Church in Blair, Friday afternoon. Mrs. Nielsen was seventy-three years of age and her death was caused by a complication of diseases.

Rev. I. H. Schultz had charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. A. Rassmusen and by Rev. I Gertsen, of Council Bluffs, who gave a sermon in the English language.

Mrs. Nielsen was the widow of Julius V. Nielsen, a former Blair resident who died four years ago. She leaves to mourn her demise, eight children as follows: Mrs. Ove T. Andersen of Blair, Mrs. John Hansen and Miss Mary Nielsen of Council Bluffs, Mrs. M. B. Tracy of Potter, Nebr., also four sons, Peter A. of Selma, Calif., Philip and J. N. of Potter, Nebr., and Hans who lives in Audubon, Iowa.

A large number of friends attended the services and escorted the mourners to the cemetery to bury their mother in the family lot.
