Herman Farmer Died Suddenly Last Thursday

Howard George Fink, a retired farmer of the Herman area, died suddenly last Thursday of a heart attack. He was taken to the Blair Hospital by the Blair Rescue Squad but was dead on arrival.

The deceased was born at Wakefield, Nebraska, January 6, 1907, and was 67 years of age at his death.

He is survived by his wife, Erma and by a daughter and a son. The daughter is Mrs. Lamond Knell (Rosella) of Fremont. The son is Don Fink, also of Fremont. There are five grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. The brothers are William Fink of Kirkman, Iowa, and Don Fink of Omaha. The sisters: Mrs. Pearl Carlson, of Wakefield, Nebraska, and Mrs. Stanley Montgomery, of St. Charles, Missouri.

Funeral services were held at the Herman Baptist Church Monday morning at 10:30. The Rev Zack Kleinsasser conducted the service and burial was made in the Herman Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary at Blair.

Pallbearers were Roy Hansen, George Green, Delbert Green, Melvin Magill, Dick Hancock and Jim Hancock.
