Jennifer J. Post was born in a farming community in Nebraska on Ground Hog Day in 1947. From a young age, she filled the hearts of others with love, hope and joy. In college, she acquired her nursing degree and continued her nursing education until she retired in rural Iowa.

She was deeply admired by handsome men and her four children: Molly Alan, Gina and Patty. In her spare time, she enjoyed caring for animals, studying astrology and spending countless hours in her gardens. She had a divine green thumb and regularly brought plants back from the dead.

Jennifer loved cruising around town in her white 1983 Cadillac Eldorado; a gleaming golden angel sat upon its hood. While her life was filled with great success and unimaginable struggle, she remained a fierce and beautiful soul. A spark encounter would not soon be forgotten after meeting her.

Jennifer would serve as a guardian angel to many in her lifetime. The light of her spirit by far out-shined the darkness of her demons. According to the Bible, once an angel has completed a task it ceases to exist. Today, you spread your wings and your spirit is free to cruise home to the handsome man in heaven.

Thank you for teaching us life’s most important skill, survival. Through love, hope and joy we will continue to spread your kindness and will never forget your witty sense of humor and your contagious smile. Until we meet again, we love you and know that you are with us, always.

A memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the family to be designated.
