Infant Child of P. C. Christensen Fatally Burned

Mrs. P. C. Christensen, who resides west of Cuming City town hall, stepped outside of her cozy immaculate kitchen, Saturday, leaving a bright five year old daughter and two and one-half year old infant. The older child picked up and lighted wax taper and in some manner accidentally ignited the curtains in the room which spread to a crib in which the younger child laid. The baby was badly burned about the abdomen and legs, and Dr. Langstaff, who hurried to the scene of the unfortunate accident, found the little one in a serious condition and its recovery is doubtful.
