Harry Leland Schreckengast Jr. age 60, passed away November 7, 2017 at Bergan Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 13 at 11:00 am at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Graveside services will follow at the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Harry was born on May 26, 1957 in Wright City, Missouri, the son of Harry Schreckengast Sr. and Violet (Shelton) Schreckengast. Harry was raised in Wright City and graduated from High School there. On June 10, 1978, he was united in marriage to Carol A. Kobs at First Lutheran Church in Blair, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Lakeland Estates, south of Blair, and were blessed with their daughter Sara. Harry was employed at Lozier’s in Omaha, Nebraska for over 25 years. He enjoyed camping, listening to music, golf, spending time on the computer and especially spending time with his family.

Harry is survived by his wife Carol of Blair; daughter Sara Schreckengast of Blair; siblings: James (Betty) Schreckengast, Rick (Tammy) Schreckengast, Jackie Montgomery, and Lisa O’Donnell; father and mother in law: Gerald and Donna Kobs of Blair; brothers in law: Gene (Lu Anne) Kobs, Steve (Audra) Kobs, Lowell (Kayla) Kobs, and John (Ann) Kobs; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother George Schreckengast.
