Lyle Clarkson Husk, 67, of Herman, died Thursday, Sept, 9, 1999, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services were Monday, Sept. 13, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel in Blair. Burial was at the Blair Cemetery.

Lyle Clarkson Husk was born Aug. 24, 1932, to Clarkson and Viva (McCowan) Husk of rural Blair. He graduated from Blair High School in 1949.

On July 1, 1951, he married Donna Hannah. He was employed by Western Electric for 36 years, and retired in 1995.

Husk was a member of the Herman Federated Church, Methodist Affiliation, Herman Fire Department, Herman Rescue Squad, Herman Planning Commission and he served as secretary on the Herman Cemetery District Board for 20 years.

He is survived by wife Donna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon and Kris Husk of Blair; and Gale and Lounette Husk of Omaha; mother, Viva Husk of Blair; sister, Marlene Lucht of Blair; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarkson Husk.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
