Walter Huss, 67, of Eagle, Neb., died Monday, Aug. 18, 1997. Services were Friday, Aug. 22, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Huss was born in Nebraska City, Neb. to Henry and Edith Huss. He was retired from Reinhardt Brothers Plumbing & Heating.

He was an Air Force Korean Conflict veteran; a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, American Legion Post No. 3 and Moose Lodge No. 175, all of Lincoln.

Survivors are his wife, Betty L., of Eagle; daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Mark Bolander of Blair and Shari and Roger Dick of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas M. and Jan Huss of Eagle and Jeffrey and Shelli Huss of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Brandon Bolander, Nicholas and Garrett Bolander, all of Blair; Tiffany Huss, Megan Huss, both of Eagle and Chrissa Huss, Mattew Huss and Samuel Huss, all of Lincoln; sisters, Bernice Fahrenholtz of Nebraska City and Gladys Pieper of Lincoln; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Vernon of Rushville and Billie of Des Moines, Iowa.

Memorials may be given to the family.

Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
