Lazena Jeger (Warrick)

Published in the Pilot February 17, 1926

Mrs. Lazena Jeger, a sister of Mrs. Jas Stapleton, of this city, and of the late Lincoln Warrick, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Voght in Bancroft at noon Monday of cancer, from which she has been a sufferer for several months. A funeral service will be held at the Voght home at 10:30 tomorrow, Thursday, forenoon, and another service at 2:30 at her old home in Craig, she being a member of the Christian Church at that place. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Craig. Lazena Warrick was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Warrick, and was born on the farm home north of Blair March 24th, 1862, so would have been 63 years of age had she lived until next month. Her husband died five years ago last August and is buried at Craig, also two children, who died in infancy. Mrs. Voght is her only child living and her two children are the only grandchildren. Mrs. Stapleton is the only member of the Amasa Warrick family now living.
