Mrs. Theodore Anderson, who has been ailing for the past five months, passed away at her home west of Dana College on Monday evening, March 7.

Deceased was born in Douglas County, August 22, 1877 and when about eleven years of age came to this county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beck, where she has since resided.

On June 27, 1901 Miss Julia Edith Beck was married to Theodore Anderson and to them three children were born, one boy passing away in infancy, another son James, now grown to manhood is helping his father with the work of the farm, and a daughter, Miss Mary Anderson is teaching in the Blair City Schools.

Mrs. Anderson was a woman of high christian character and an ideal mother and she will not alone be missed by the family circle, but by a large number of close friends.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock at the home where her nephew, Rev. Kai Nygaard officiated and at two o’clock at the Danish Lutheran Church were Rev. H. Nielsen, the resident pastor, had charge and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery

Besides the bereaved husband and son and daughter, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Kate Nelson and Mrs. Anna Beck, both of Blair, and two brothers, Mr. Hans Beck of Blair and Mr. Ever Beck of Lake View, South Dakota besides a number of other relatives who will mourn her death.

#2 Published in the Tribune March 17, 1927 The funeral of Mrs. Theodore Anderson, who died March 7th, was held last Wednesday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran church, after which burial was made in Blair cemetery.
