Charleen "Peaches" L. Kremke, age 81, of Arlington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19 at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.

Peaches was born May 16, 1936, to Charles and Luella (Zeek) Peters in Omaha. She was raised in Papillion, graduating from Papillion High School in 1953. She then attended University of Omaha (UNO) receiving a masters degree in education. Peaches, then began her teaching career where she taught at Avoca, Millard, Ralston, Ft. Calhoun and St. Paul's Arlington. She married Robert Kremke on December 20, 1958 in Papillion. During her retirement she was very involved with her granddaughters, substitute teaching, FBLA and her antiques. She simply loved being a teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.

She is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Donnette (Chip) Bastian of Arlington, granddaughters Charlsie and Madison Bastian, as well as many loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Arlington City Cemetery.

ARLINGTON — Charleen “Peaches” L. Kremke, age 81, of Arlington passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.

Peaches was born May 16, 1936, to Charles and Luella (Zeek) Peters in Omaha. She was raised in Papillion, graduating from Papillion High School in 1953.
