Beulah A. Hansen

Published in the Pilot July 14, 1926

Miss Beulah Hansen passed away at the Blair Hospital at 4:30 p.m. last Thursday, July 8th, following a long illness that the best of medical skill and nursing seemed unable to conquer. The funeral was held at the Methodist Church, Rev. J. D. Johnson, of Norfolk, and Rev. G. M. Garton, of Seward, ministers of the Adventist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery. Beulah was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hansen, of the Orum neighborhood, born October 3, 1901, so was not yet 25 years of age. She entered the Boulder (Colo.) Sanitarium in 1923 to take a nurse’s training course but after two years she was obliged to give up the work on account of her health. Besides her parents she is survived by an only brother, Clarence, and five sisters, Edna, Mildred, Wilma, Leona and Elizabeth. Miss Mildred is following the footsteps of her sister and is taking nurse’s training to fit herself to serve humanity in this very helpful way.
