Ricky Dean Goodin passed away Dec. 7, 2017, at his home in Blair. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation was at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at noon.

Ricky Dean Goodin was born March 4, 1963, in Archie, Mo., to Donald and Deloris Goodin. He was raised in Omaha. He joined the Marines in 1980. He met Jane in 1980 and they married in 1992. He has five children and five grandchildren. He enjoyed westerns, fishing, hunting, time with the family and practical jokes.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Jane Goodin; children: Kelly (Jim) Nightingale, Deloras Goodin, Brandi Mastel and Kevin Mastel; grandchildren: Alexis, Faith, Parker, Aliana and Zoe; mother-in-law, Nell Boughton; sister, Lori (Norm) Torgerson; brother, Michael (Natalie) Thiessen; many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Deloris Goodin, father-in-law, Duane Boughton and son, Ricky Goodin Jr.

Note: there was an obituary in the Dec. 11, 2017 Omaha World-Herald that had nothing else, except that there would be a Memorial at the VFW in Blair immediately following the Funeral Service at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.
