Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home for Fritz Fischer, lifetime resident of the county, who died Tuesday at Memorial Community Hospital. He was 84 years old.

He was born at Blair, February 14th, 1887, and he remained in this area all of his life. He was a farmer but had retired some years ago. He lived at 20th and Lincoln Streets.

He was never married.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles Gehrk. There are no other living relatives.

Rev. Sanford D. Sorgen of the First Lutheran Church conducted the funeral services and burial was made in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.
