George Lowe died at the county farm last Saturday morning of leakage of the heart and the body was buried in the Blair Cemetery, the committal service being read by Rev. A. D. Smalley, of the Baptist Church. He has a divorced wife, one daughter and two sons in Omaha. The daughter came up Sunday to see the remains of her father but none of the family were here for the burial service. Mr. Lowe lived in the old Maher Hotel building until it was torn down and had been out at the county farm since last fall. He was 67 years of age.
