Robert L. Kuhr, age 87, of Scribner Neb., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, surrounded by his family at Hooper Care Center in Hooper, Neb.

Born in Blair on Dec. 5, 1930, Robert previously lived in Blair and Arlington. Robert served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953. During his life, Robert was a farmer, trucker, business owner and contractor.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Minnie, sisters Marlene, Ruth Kuhr and son Mitchell Kuhr. He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Patty Mullin (Leonard TenEyck) of Fremont, Melinda (Terry) Folkerts of Georgetown, Texas, Robert (Erin) Kuhr of Fremont, Kathleen (CJ) Coartney of Nickerson, grandchildren Shantell, Jake, Hollie, Colby, Zach and Seth, great-grandchild Preston and much adored cat Marvin.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Dodge County Humane Society.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 6-8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery.
