Rose Marie Wulf, aged 86, of Bennington, passed away Dec. 15, 2017 at her home in rural Bennington. Memorial services will be held Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Rose M. Wulf was born on April 6, 1931 in Bennington, the daughter of Otto and Rose (Lambrecht) Hagedorn. She attended a one room school house, District 52, about a mile from her family home. She walked to and from school everyday no matter the weather. On Dec. 5, 1950 she was united in marriage to Roy Everett Wulf at her family home. In 1950 Roy and Rose purchased the Wulf family farm near Bennington. Rose loved her flower garden and working on crafts.

Rose is survived by her children, Patricia (Gerald) Samla of Omaha, Stanley (Vicki) Wulf of Fremont, Lori (Russ) Bryant of Bennington, grandchildren, Zack (Katie) Bryant of Washington and Liz (Mark) McDermott of Blair, brother Otto (Linda) Hagedorn of Tea, South Dakota and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Wulf in Oct. 2016, sister in law Loretta (Chris) Johansen and brother in law Elmer (Evelyn) Wulf.
