Cora Mae Reeh (Pettit)

Cora M. Reeh, Nee Pettit, was the daughter of John and Caroline Pettit. She was born near Neponset, Ill., July 17, 1871. With her parents she come to Nebraska in her childhood days. She lived west of Blair until just a few days before she passed away. She was united in holy wedlock to August D. Reeh, April 2, 1890. This union was blessed with eight children all of who are living in this vicinity except Byron who proceeded his mother in death at the age of ten. After an illness of several weeks her soul departed from its tabernacle March 18, 1926. She was a patient and loving devoted wife, always having the care and welfare of her loved ones at heart. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, seven children, John, Mrs. Cleon Wilkins, James, Earl, Mrs. Roy Webster, Anna, and Ruth who are still home with their father, and her aged mother, six brothers and two sisters, besides many relatives and friends. The funeral services where conducted by Rev. W. C. George in the Blair Methodist Episcopal Church and interment made in the Blair Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
