Johnny Iversen was brought to the Blair hospital Monday afternoon a very sick man and passed away at 10 last evening. The funeral service will be held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Chris Larsen at Orum, where he was making his home, Friday afternoon, and at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Rev. P.J. Reinertson officiating. Her was born in Norway 65 years ago the 17th of last June and came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. O. Iverson, when a small boy. They settled first at Madison, Wis., later they moved to Chicago and in 1883 came to this county settling near Orum. Mrs. Iverson died about fifteen years ago and his father some ten years ago. Since his mother’s death he has made his home with his sister. Besides her he is survived by three brothers, all of Lincoln, Joe, C.H. and O. W. Iverson.

John L. Iverson passed away at the Blair Hospital at 9:30 Tuesday evening after a long and painful illness, during which he was a very patient sufferer. He was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon, having only been bedfast two or three days. He was 63 years old last June. He leaves three brothers, Charley, Ole, and Joe Iverson , of Lincoln and one sister Mrs. H. C. Larsen with whom he made his home. The funeral was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Orum, Friday afternoon and interment in the Orum Cemetery, Rev. P. J. Reinertsen preaching the funeral sermon. Out of town relatives present for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Iverson and Mary Helen, and son Joe Iverson, and wife,, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Iverson and son, Fred Iverson and wife, all of Lincoln.
