Janice Rae Vaage Robinson passed away January 8, 2018. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Janice Rae Vaage Robinson was born July 10, 1931 in Madison County, Nebraska. Her parents were Julia Nelson Vaage and Richard John Vaage. Janice's family lived on the farm that was homesteaded by Lars and Anna Vaage, her grandparents. She attended eight years at District 68 school in Madison County and four years at Newman Grove High School graduating in 1948. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. Janice was a graduate of Immanuel Hospital school of Nursing in 1952. She married Clifton Newkirk Robinson on September 6, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. Janice was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her children: Kristen Louise Robinson Stapp, Thomas Carl Robinson, David John Robinson, and Stephen Vaage Robinson; grandchildren: Eric David Stapp, Alyssa Elizabeth Eyman, Renat Robinson, and Andrei Robinson; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton, son Richard Clifton Robinson, parents, siblings: Vernon Vaage, Rufus Vaage, and Arlene Schurr.
