Word was received last week of the death of Chris Carmichael at a hospital in McNutt, Manitoba, Canada, from thyphoid fever on the 25th of February. He was buried up there. He lived on a farm near Dropmore, but was taken to a hospital at McNutt. Sixteen miles distant. He would have been 50 years of age March 20th. He is survived by his wife, formerly Vesta Dixon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Dixon, of Bethany, Neb., one son Bradley, aged 22, and one daughter, Verna, aged 17. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Carmichael, four brothers, two sisters and two half daughters.
