Jane Rose

Mrs. A. D. Rose of Rosalie died of pneumonia last Friday and was buried in the Kennard cemetery Sunday. Mrs. Rose was one of the old settlers of this neighborhood and her death came as a shock to her many friends and relatives. Although the day was stormy and the roads almost impassable, quite a few turned out, although a number did not know of her death until after the remains were buried. She was 59 years old and leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her loss. We sincerely sympathize with them in their sad affliction.

KENNARD HAPPENINGS

On last Friday evening A. D. Anderson received the sad news of the death of his wife's aunt at Rosalie of pneumonia, Mrs. A. D. Rose. She was 57 years old and leaves several children and a husband to mourn her death. Mr. and Mrs. Rose moved from here sixteen years ago, and the remains were brought to Kennard for burial and laid to rest beside the child that had preceded her to that great beyond. We extend our sincere sympathy to the father and children and other relatives in their sorrow.

#3 Kennard Enterprise 24 Feb 1911 The remains of Mrs. A. D. Rose were brought here from Walthill, Neb., Sunday and the remains laid to rest in the Kennard cemetery. Mrs. Rose was a highly esteemed lady, and the husband and children have our sincere sympathy in their sad bereavement.
