MRS. JOHN BOLLN FUNERAL IS HELD

NATIVE OF DAVENPORT, IA, MRS. BOLLN DIED IN OMAHA FRIDAY

Mrs. John Bolln, 63, of Blair died Friday in Omaha at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Sanders. She had been in ill health for two years.

As Matilda Soll, she was born at Davenport, Iowa, October 3, 1872, and came to Nebraska when a child. She lived in Omaha and vicinity several years.

Her marriage to Mr. Bolln occurred in Omaha March 5, 1896. To them were born two daughters, Mrs. Sanders and Miss Marie Bolln, both of Omaha, and one son, Harry, who had resided with his parents on their farm home. All survive, as does Mr. Bolln. The surviving relatives are two brothers, Louie and Henry Soll of Florence, and three sisters, Mrs. August Rathmann of Blair, Mrs. Henry Smith of Florence and Mrs. Showalter of South Omaha.

The body was brought to the Campbell mortuary here and funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Blair Methodist church, the Rev. D.A. McCullough officiating. Burial was in Blair cemetery.

MRS. JOHN BOLLN PASSES AWAY

Matilda Soll was born at Davenport, Iowa October 3, 1872, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Sanders, in Omaha June 19, 1936.

She came to Omaha, Nebraska when a child and lived in Omaha and vicinity where she grew into young womanhood.

She was united in marriage with John H. Bolln March 5, 1896 in Omaha, and to this union three children were born, two daughters and one son. In 1901 the family moved to Washington county and settled on a farm near Blair. Mrs. Bolln had been in failing health for the past two years, her death resulting from this protracted illness.

Those of her family who survive her are the husband, John H. Bolln; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Sanders and Marie Bolln, both residing in Omaha; one son, Harry, who lives with the parents on the farm home. There are three sisters: Mrs. Henry Smith and Mrs. Rathmann, both of Florence and Mrs. Schowalter of South Omaha; two brothers: Louis and Henry Soll both of Florence, Nebraska. A very large company of neighbors and friends are also left to grieve the departure of this fine, helpful, friendly, home loving woman.

The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, June 21st, at the Blair Methodist Episcopal church, Rev. D. A. McCullough, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in the Blair cemetery.
