Rosemary Larson, age 91, died Jan. 11 at Blair Memorial Hospital under hospice care. Norman and Rosemary moved to rural Kennard the summer of 1967. Rosemary loved the farm. She was a devoted wife, mother and grammie. She taught Sunday school and bible school for 50 years at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Rosemary was the social director for all activities, outings and vacations. Also involved in bible women’s circle and many more. She worked at Blair West Pharmacy for 20 years. Bought calves, pigs, farm equipment at the sale barn. She knew when to bid and when to drop out. Pretty good for a city gal. Raised sows, baby pigs, chickens, bottle calves and castrated, cut teeth and tails. Always celebrated 4th of July with family, friends, lots of food and fireworks.
