FREMONT — Robert “Bob” Andreasen, 83 years, of Fremont passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Fremont Health Medical Center. He was born June 14, 1934, at rural Washington County to Fred and Della (Kempcke) Andreasen.

Bob was raised on the family farm north west of Kennard. He graduated from Kennard High School in 1951. Bob married Edith Evert in 1955 at Blair. He was a lifelong farmer. He and Edith moved to Fremont in 1996.

Bob was a former member of the Eagles in Fremont. He enjoyed bowling leagues with friends and family and spectating events of the children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Edith of Fremont; son, Brian (Mary) Andreasen of Kennard; daughters, Gloria (Jeffery) Connnick of Sioux City, Iowa, Theresa (Denis) Anderson of Fremont, Patty Goodwin of Arlington; brother, James Andreasen of Blair; sister, Arlene Peterson of Blair; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry and Howard; sisters; Velma and Elaine; and an infant brother.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Marty Tollefson will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m., and family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at Kennard Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a designation at a later date.
