Services for Helen K. Bolt, 83, of Blair, who died September 17, 1986, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair, will be Saturday, September 20, 10 a.m., at the Campbell Funeral Home. Rev. Debra Tompsett will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Miss Bolt was born September 19, 1902, the daughter of Emmett and Mary Jane Bolt of Blair.

She graduated from Blair High School in 1920 and later the Nebraska School of Business in Lincoln.

She was the first official clerk of the Washington County Court, serving from 1925-1930.

Miss Bolt was also deputy county clerk and deputy county treasurer.

Miss Bolt was vice president of the State Registrar of Deeds in 1940.

She did secretarial and supervisory work as area clerk with the United State Department of Agricultural Soil Conservation Service from 1952-1972.

Miss Bolt was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the OES McKinley Chapter in Blair, as well as serving as a past worthy matron and a 50-year member.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Wilson of Blair, and many nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
