Bolton, Mrs. Matt (Bunn) (Deaver), 40

Report of the death of Mrs. Bolton, a former well-known and highly esteemed native born resident of the county came to Blair relatives last week and on Saturday the husband, Matt Bolton, and son, by a former marriage, Clayton Deaver, of Newcastle, Wyo., arrived with the body which was buried here, funeral service being held on Sunday at the home of Mrs. Val Bunn, mother of deceased. Her death occurred at Alliance, where she had gone for a surgical operation, on the 17th, inst.

Deceased was born on the old home farm in Cuming City township, this county, in 1879 and when 18 years of age was married to Samuel Deaver, three of the five children born to them, Clayton Deaver, and his sister, Mrs. Alfreda Morgan, residing in Wyoming, and Gerald in the U.S. army in France, all living. Some years ago she and Deaver separated and she resided at Herman for a number of years later going to Wyoming where her son had preceded her and after procuring a divorce was married to Matt Bolton in August 1917, at Newcastle, Wyo. 1917, at Newcastle, Wyo.

Beside her husband and children, heretofore mentioned, her mother, Mrs. Val Bunn of this city, two brothers, C.B. Bunn, resident on a farm north of Blair, and Herb, who lives at Minot, N.D., and one sister, Mrs. Sam Barrett, residing in western Nebraska, are surviving near relatives.
