Audrey M. Stark, age 93, of Blair, died Monday, Jan. 15 at CHI Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. A memorial will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair

Audrey Mae Egerton was born February 28, 1924 to F. Dale and Martha Vasek Egerton in Schuyler, NE. She graduated from Schuyler High School in 1942. She worked at the Bell telephone company as an operator. Audrey was united in marriage to Elbert L. Stark on September 8, 1949 at the Papillion Methodist Church and enjoyed 65 years together. She was a member of the Schuyler First Presbyterian Church for over 80 years and worked at the Schuyler Memorial Hospital for 25 years until her retirement at the age of 71. She enjoyed reading, writing letters, birdwatching, gardening, cooking, and cats. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

Audrey is survived by her sons; Lindsey (Crystal) Stark and Paul (Wanda) Stark; grandchildren: Whitney Stark, Courtney (Kevin) Kahlandt, Cassandra (Tom) Tharp and Caleb (Allyson) Stark; great grandchildren: Adeline Tharp and Henry Kahlandt; sister in law Evelyn Stark, cousins Merna and Estelle Stark and nieces and nephews.

Services will also be held at the Schuyler 1st Presbyterian Church in Schuyler, Nebraska on Wednesday, January 24, at 1 p.m. Memorials may be directed to The Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair.
