Mrs. Otto Nelson died at her home on North Walker Avenue at 10:20 Monday evening, following an illness of about a year. For the past three months she has been confined to her bed with rheumatism and other complication. A short funeral service will be held at the house at 1 o’clock tomorrow, Thursday, and at the Rose Hill Church at 2:30, Rev. P. J. Reinertsen officiating. She was a daughter, Minnie, of Mr. and Mrs. John Erikson of the Spiker neighborhood. She was born June 30, 1890, so was just past 36 years of age. She was married to Otto Nelson February 17th, 1917, and they made their home on York Creek until last March, when they moved to this city. She is survived by her mother, husband and an only daughter, Dorothy aged 5 years. Also three brothers and two sisters, Magnus and Emil of Maxwell, Calif., Mrs. Francis Forsberg and Carl, who live near the old home place, and Miss Goldie Erickson of Sioux City Ia.
