Mary Janes Green was born at Baraboo, Wisconsin, February 10, 1958 and departed this life December 29th, 1925, at Kennard, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Fred D. Jones August 28, 1881, who preceded her in death 37 years ago. To this union four children were born. Burr R. Jones, of Beaver Crossing, Nebr., Mrs. Maude Schmeller, of Guide Rock, Nebr., Blanche Jones, of Hastings and Mrs. Jessie Ward, of Kennard, Nebr. She was again united in marriage to Homer A. Wright February 8, 1905. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, children, three brothers and eleven grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist Church for many years, but of late years she affiliated with the Church of God, of which she was a faithful member at the time of her death. She was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Kennard on Thursday, J. W. Williams, of Gladbrook, Iowa officiating assisted by the local pastor.
