Matthew “Matt” L. Thomas, age 34, of Fremont passed away Friday, Jan. 12 at his home. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on July 20, 1983 to Dennie and Debra “Colleen” (Davis) Thomas. Matt attended Arlington High School and was the owner/operator of MJ Livestock, LLC. He lived in Arlington most of his life, until moving to Fremont and living there the last few years. He enjoyed car racing, especially NASCAR, tractor pulls, truck pulls, boating, fishing and music.

He is survived by his parents; special friend, Shannon Thielfoldt of Fremont; son, Trenton Thomas of Fremont; daughter, Kaydence Thomas of Fremont; twin brother, Steven Thomas of Carter Lake; sister, Rachel (Roger) Holbrook. Matt was preceded in death by his grandma, Kate Davis and uncle, Charles Davis.
