Little Lila Margaret Wachter, six-week old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wachter, of near Tekamah, succumbed to a spinal ailment that threatened her life from the beginning departing this life August 27, at the Blair Hospital. Every ministry possible was made to save the little one but to no avail. An appropriate funeral service was held from the M. E. Church on Tuesday afternoon. G. L. Dixon sang two numbers. Many friends of the bereft parents were present at the service. While the parents are grateful to many kind friends, they are especially appreciative of the untiring ministries of the hospital force.
