Gary L. Gaines, age 76, of Wahoo, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. 

Gary was born June 9, 1941, to Perry and Edith Gaines in Fremont. He attended and graduated from North Bend High School in 1959. Following high school, he worked for R&S Shoes in Fremont. He also worked for his father in advertising. Gary worked various sales jobs and did some painting contracting until 1990, when he moved to Missouri. He eventually moved back to the area and was residing in Wahoo. 

Gary enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling. He cherished his dogs, and was a friend to many.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018, from 1-3P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be at Kennard Cemetery.
