Funeral services were held Friday, July 18, at the Howard K. McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon, Maryland, for Marie Caroline Bond, 81, formerly of Fort Calhoun, who died Tuesday, July 15, 1986, at Bel Air Convalescent Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Burial was in the Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bond was born November 6, 1904, to Martin and Marie Gross Schneemeyer of Fort Calhoun.

She married John Osborn in 1924 in Omaha.

The couples' three children, Dorothy, Laura and John, Jr., as well as her husband, John, Sr., all preceded her in death.

She then married Edwin Bond in 1942, who also precedes her in death-one child, Jean, was born.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William, Russell and Harold.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Parker of Acworth, Georgia; two brothers, Rudolph of Lutherville, Maryland, and Walter of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Emma C. Gross of Lutherville, Maryland; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and one nephew.

She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Francis and Norma Schneemeyer. Norma Schneemeyer attended the services last week.
