ONE-TIME BLAIR WOMAN DIED IN OMAHA FRIDAY

Alvina Bondo, 97, 6512 Pinkney Street, Omaha, Nebraska, died Friday at an Omaha hospital following a short illness. Born in Denmark, she came to the United States at the age of 3 years and resided most of her lifetime on a farm in the Underwood, Iowa area.

She made her home with Mrs. Boas Weismann of Blair, for a number of years. For the past 10 years she had resided in Omaha with her daughter Mrs. Emma Christensen.

Mrs. Bondo was preceded in death by her husband Peter Bondo in 1939. She was a member of the Pella Lutheran Church in Omaha.

Survivors include 4 daughters; Mrs. Emma Christensen, Omaha; Mrs. Oluf (Lillie) Larsen, Underwood, Iowa; Mrs. Esther Magnussen, Neola, Iowa; and Mrs. Alvina Weismann, Blair, and 1 son, Elmer Bondo, Blair. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Neola, Iowa. Rev. Kenneth Ahntholz, of the Neola Church and Rev. Donald Rice, of the Omaha Church, officiated. Interment was in Boomer Township Cemetery at Neola.
