Marvin McAlhaney, 81 of Blair, passed away January 30, 2018 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, February 3 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Marvin McAlhaney was born August 7, 1936 to Robert Lee & Marjorie McAlhaney of Varnville, SC.

Preceded in Death by Jack McAlhaney, Jimmy McAlhaney, Sarah Harrington, Robert McAlhaney, Ella Jane Reed and Archie Thomas. Survived by Myrtle Smith (Beaufort, SC).

Survived by his family: David McAlhaney (Spouse Annie and Grand Daughter Isabella) of Chicago, John McAlhaney of Blair, Kathy McAlhaney (Significant Other Troy Truitt) of Varnville, SC, Misty Graeve (Spouse Greg, grandson Gage, granddaughters Waren and Kate) of Missouri Valley, IA.

He was a proud member of the US Airforce stationed in Wiesbaden Germany for four years. He traveled around the US for four years working for Stromberg Carlson and then settled down with Huntel Systems for 37 years.

Marvin loved to hunt, fish and garden. He will be missed and never forgotten.
