Lewis William Casey, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 28, in Stella, Mo. after losing the fight to metastatic cancer.

Lewis was born on April, 18 1956 in Aroura, Ill. to Mary Lou and William Casey. After graduating from high school he began working odd jobs to help support his family, finally ending up as an over the road truck driver. Lewis enjoyed spending time with his family and would do anything in his power to help out anyone he could, including a stranger. He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing or riding his motorcycle anytime he could. Lewis will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Lewis is survived by one daughter, Stephone Kriens and husband, Daniel of Osceola, Iowa; three sisters, Billie Mathes of Corydon, Iowa, Melody Gilson and husband, Ronnie of Corydon, Iowa, Janet Casey-Little of Osceola, Iowa; three brothers, David Casey and wife, Robin of Blair, Jim Casey and wife, Nancy of Corydon, Iowa, Tim Casey of Osceola Iowa; Peggy and George Lewis of Stella Mo.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church, 300 S. Main Street, Osceola, Iowa on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 11:00 a.m. Contributions to assist with final expenses may be made to the family c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850
