Rose Mae Sheets
Died on 8/6/1927
Buried in Herman Cemetery

Published in the Pilot August 10, 1927

Rose Mae, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Sheets, was taken ill a week ago last Sunday and after a few days illness of pneumonia passed away. She was born in Herman on the 23rd day of March, 1926 and died August 6, 1927, at the age of 1 year, four months, and fourteen days. She was the only child and much loved by her parents who with a host of other relatives are left to mourn her early departure. All that medical skill could do was done for the little one; but it pleased God, who makes no mistakes, to call her away from her earthly home to the one above. The loving sympathy of this community goes out to these sorrowing ones at this time of their trial.

How brief the stay, as beautiful, as fleeting The time that baby came with us to dwell; Just long enough to give us happy greeting. Just long enough to bid us all farewell. Alonzo Rece
