ELTON BOOTH, FORMER BLAIR MAN, DIES

Elton Booth, a former Blair man who will be remembered by many of the older residents, died at Paramount, California on December 13th. He was 79 years old.

Mr. Booth was born in Blair March 28, 1883 and made his home here for many years. He was married to Mabel DuLaney, also of Blair. She died a year ago.

Mr. Booth was a clerk in the old Gutschow store located on the corner now occupied by the Blue Goose store. Later, he worked for several years for P.Z. Wilson, who ran a general merchandise store on the site of the present Appleby appliance store.

Mr. Booth is survived by three daughters, Ina and Shirley, of California, and Susan of Arkansas. There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial was made in Paramount.
