Raised A Big Garden Each Year

Erma J. Moser, 84, of Omaha, died July 8, 2011, in Omaha. Funeral services were Thursday, July 14 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Erma Joyce Bayer was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Dixon to Henry and Mary Bayer. In 1939, she moved with her parents to Kennard.

She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

She graduated from Kennard High School and went to work at a bank in Omaha. She then worked for many years for Charlie Kent's key shop.

On Dec. 31, 1951, she married Edwin "Bud" Moser.

Mrs. Moser always raised a big garden each year and loved to care for the grandchildren when needed.

Mr. and Mrs. Moser traveled with the Old Car Clubs of Omaha and Fremont, meeting and traveling with her brother, Vernon and his wife Kathy Bayer of Mesa, Ariz.

She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Colleen Moser; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steve Bauermeister; grandchildren and spouses; one great-grandson; sister, Marian Wilson of Blair; nieces and nephews.
